Ask Claude and ChatGPT About Your Jobsite Calls

Hardline's new MCP connector links your calls, email, and docs into one answer.

Hardline's MCP connector linking jobsite phone calls, email, and project documents into a single answer inside Claude and ChatGPT.

Today we're launching the Hardline MCP connector for Claude and ChatGPT.

In plain terms: you can now open Claude or ChatGPT and ask a question about your jobs, and the answer comes straight from your Hardline data — the calls your team is already making every day, turned into structured records you can actually query.

The harder part — and the one we're more excited about — is what happens when you connect it alongside everything else.

One question. Every source.

MCP is the standard that lets AI tools talk to your other tools. So Hardline isn't the only thing Claude or ChatGPT can see. You connect Hardline next to your email, your document drive, your project files — and now a single question pulls from all of them at once.

That matters because no answer on a jobsite lives in one place. What got said on a call is in Hardline. The follow-up is buried in someone's inbox. The spec everyone's arguing about is sitting in a folder. Today, getting the full picture means three searches in three tools and a guess at whether you've got the latest version.

With the connector, it's one query:

  • "What did the framing crew flag on Maple St this week, and did we ever email the owner about it?"
  • "Which RFIs are still open across my active jobs, and pull the latest spec doc for each."
  • "Catch me up on the plumbing sub — every call and email since Monday."

You're not stitching anything together. The AI does it, and it does it against your most current data — because it's reading the live sources, not a stale export.

Why we built it on calls first

Most construction software assumes the record starts when someone types it in. It doesn't. It starts on the phone — the verbal approval, the "yeah, go ahead and pour it," the change nobody wrote down.

That's the layer Hardline already captures. We turn those calls into daily logs, RFIs, punch lists, action items, and meeting minutes without anyone filling out a form. The connector takes that record and makes it answerable in the tools your team is increasingly living in anyway.

So instead of Hardline being one more place to log in, it becomes part of the answer when you ask Claude or ChatGPT a question — right next to your inbox and your drive.

What you can do with it today

If you're already on Hardline, the connector works with both Claude and ChatGPT. Connect Hardline, connect whatever else you want it reading from, and start asking. The more sources you wire in, the more complete the answers get.

A few things teams are reaching for first:

  • End-of-week catch-up. Ask for everything that happened on a job — across calls, email, and docs — without opening five tabs.
  • RFI and approval tracking. Pull what's open, who owes what, and the document tied to each.
  • Subcontractor history. Get the full thread on a sub in one place when a dispute is brewing.

The bigger idea

We think the system of record for construction is shifting from things people type to things people say. Voice is how jobsites actually run. The connector is a step toward making that record not just captured, but instantly useful — wherever you already work, and connected to everything else you rely on.

If you want to see it on your own jobs, book a demo. We'll show you what one question across your whole stack actually looks like.
